
SALLY'S PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
All our items may be reheated using any method you prefer! The vacuum sealed bags are microwave safe and sous vide safe. It’s entirely up to you to reheat in any way that you are familiar with.
For the best results when reheating foods where a “crispy” outside is desired, we recommend using the oven. Although reheating time is longer than using a microwave, the result is generally more desirable.
Caution must be used when reheating food! High temperatures will be present and may cause burning if not handled properly.
Please note that when defrosting or cooking in a microwave, a small puncture must be placed into the bag.
Health Canada states that an internal temperature of 74°C or 165°F should be achieved. This can be confirmed by using a thermometer and inserting into the thickest part of the item.
Chipotle Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap:
Microwave: 2 min. on high, check internal temperature and reheat on high for 2 more minutes as needed.
Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F and bake for 25 minutes. Check internal temperature and if more cooking is required continue for 10 minutes until desired temperature is reached.
Jambalaya:
Microwave: 2 min on high, check internal temperature and cook on high for 2 more minutes. Stir carefully. If more reheating time is required continue in additional increments of 1 min until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove from sealed bag. Place in oven safe dish and cook for approximately 25 minutes or until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached.
Smoked Beef Brisket:
Microwave: 2 min on high. Check and reheat on high for 1 min. or until done.
Oven: Preheat oven to 325°F. Place brisket on oven safe dish and cook for approximately 20 minutes. Check and continue cooking if required.
Strip Loin Steak:
Microwave: 2 min on high. Check and reheat for 1 min. or until done.
Oven: Preheat oven to 325°F and bake for 20 minutes. Check and continue cooking if necessary.
Mexican Beef and Rice Wrap:
Microwave: 2 min. on high, check and continue for 2 more min. If more time is needed, continue in 1 min increments to avoid overcooking.
Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F and bake for 20 minutes. Increase temperature to 425°F and continue baking for 10 min.
Smoked Chicken Thighs:
Microwave: 2 min on high, check and continue cooking for 2 more minutes. If further cooking is needed, continue cooking in 1 min intervals until done.
Oven: Preheat oven to 425°F. Place thighs on oven safe baking sheet or dish and cook for 25 minutes. If additional time is needed, continue baking for 10 minutes then check temperature.
Roasted Potatoes with Garlic:
Microwave: 3 min. on high. Mix potatoes around and if more cooking is required, continue cooking on high for 2 min. at a time.
Oven: Preheat oven to 425°F. Place potatoes in an oven safe dish or pan and bake for 20 min. Check for desired temperature. If more time is needed, continue for 10-15 minutes.
Ginger Chicken Stir Fry:
Microwave: Cook on high for 2 min. CONTENTS WILL BE HOT! Carefully mix stir fry around and continue to cook on high for 2 more minutes or until desired temperature is reached. *Rice may be added to the stir fry before cooking or may be warmed separately.
Frying pan: Heat frying pan on medium heat for approximately 3-4 minutes. Transfer stir fry to pan and allow to warm for about 10 minutes, stirring often to ensure equal heating.
Honey Garlic Stir Fry:
Microwave: Cook on high for 2 min. CONTENTS WILL BE HOT! Carefully mix stir fry around and continue to cook on high for 2 more minutes or until desired temperature is reached. *Rice may be added to the stir fry before cooking or may be warmed separately.
Frying pan: Heat frying pan on medium heat for approximately 3-4 minutes. Transfer stir fry to pan and allow to warm for about 10 minutes, stirring often to ensure equal heating.
Home made pasta with Sausage:
Microwave: Cook on high for 2 minutes. Carefully mix contents. Continue to cook on high for 1-2 more minutes or until desired temperature is reached.
Frying pan: Heat pan on medium for 3-4 minutes with a small amount of oil or butter. Transfer contents of package to pan and allow to heat, stirring often. For best results, serve pasta on a warm plate or bowl.
Cajun Style Blackened Chicken Breast:
Microwave: Cook on high for 2 minutes. Carefully check temperature and continue to cook on high for 2-4 minutes until desired temperature is reached.
Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Place chicken on oven safe dish and cook for approximately 20-30 minutes. Check temperature and serve once internal temperature is 165°F.
